TV personality Bob Eubanks repeatedly denied “The Greatest Answer Ever” and offered a $10,000 reward to anyone who could prove that the embarrassing moment you’re about to see ever took place on his TV show “the NewlyWed Game”.

But 3 decades years later, the internet proved him wrong!

As you can see in the embedded video below (taken from a 1977 episode), things didn’t went according to plan when Bob asked his all-time favorite question, and I quote :

Where specifically is the weirdest place that you personally, girls, have ever gotten the urge to make whoopee?

Newlywed Hank Perez guessed that his wife Olga would answer “In the car”, but she didn’t. After drawing a blank, and prodded by Eubanks to give an answer, she answered, and I quote again :

F*****G in the *SS.

That answer was later on purified by the media and rephrased as “That would be in the butt, Bob”. But in 1997, almost 20 years later, when Entertainment Weekly tried to refresh Bob Eubanks’ memory, he still denied it ever happened, and I quote Mister Eubanks himself :

It never happened. No matter where I go, it’s mentioned 3 or 4 times a day. Everybody swears they saw it. I’m going to write a book and call it “That Would Be in the Book, Bob.” It never happened. (Entertainment Weekly - 1997)

Well, guess what… It Did Happen! Just read her lips and you’ll know it did!
