This animal with distinctive markings is not a typical zorse. The term “hebra” would fit it much better. Here is why…

Usually, a zorse or zebroid is the off-spring of a zebra stallion and a horse mare. This little zorse however - named Eclyse - was “produced” the other way around.

Today, she is the main star attraction at a safari park at Schloß Holte - Stukenbrock, near the German border with Holland.
