Baseball Pitcher knocks out 3 birds
This didn’t happen once, but three times! A baseball pitcher throws a fastball and accidentally knocks out a bird flying in front of the “home plate” (video proof below).
- August 1983 … Yankees’ outfielder Dave Winfield kills a seagull in Toronto with a warmup throw. The Ontario police charged him with animal cruelty, but dropped the charge later on.
- March 2001 … Diamondbacks’ player Randy Johnson delivers a pitch that strikes and mortally wounds a dove in Tucson, Arizona. (see video just below)
- June 2006 … Buffalo NY… Durham Bulls’ pitcher Jason Childers throws a fastball knocking out a seagull who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time (see video at the very bottom).
What are the odds for that???
